Picture this: you're driving on the road, minding your own business when all of a sudden, BAM! You get hit by another car. Oh man, what a buzzkill. But did you know that car accidents are actually a pretty common thing? Don't believe me? Check out these crazy statistics I found: First up, we've got Texas. Apparently, in the Lone Star state, car accidents are no joke. According to this infographic I found, in 2017 alone, there were over 14,000 car accident fatalities, and over 250,000 people were injured in car accidents. Yikes. That's a whole lot of car wrecks. But wait, it gets even crazier. Over in Illinois, the car accident numbers are just as wild. This other infographic I stumbled upon states that in 2017, there were over 300,000 car accidents reported in Illinois. And get this: over 21,000 of those accidents involved either alcohol or drugs. I mean, whoa. Just say no to drinking and driving, folks. Now, I know what you're probably thinking: "But wait,
